Arthur and Marge Laws

 

We are a Christian couple. We have lived here in Spain for 10 years and in the Murcia region for 7 years. We both come from a legal background in the UK and were involved in charities supporting victims of Domestic Violence.

 

We have the full support of our church, The Olive Branch Christian Fellowship in Camposol. Our aim, with God's help, is to continue helping those in need, as long as we are able.

 

John 14 -v- 14 Jesus said " If you ask anything in My name, I will do it"

 

Since finding the Lord a little over 2 years ago our lives have changed dramatically and He has led us to help those in desperate need here in Spain. We started our new Charity "Swap Tears For Smiles" Spain in November 2013 with the help of Father Carlos in Mazarron who introduced us to families who needed our help.

 

Initially, we started with 4 families. Over time, the number of people we are supporting has grown and continues to grow. We are now feeding and clothing 70 people. We have been blessed with quality donations for the stall and food, money, clothing and furniture for the beneficiaries.But we need much more to enable us to continue to support these people.
